“Cherry Knoll teaches not only acedemics, but the children learn to respect each other's differences and extend a compassionate hand to peers who may be struggling. There truly is a family atmosphere, and student pride. Top notch on-site before/after school care provides working families with peace of mind. Our only concern is class sizes in some grade levels. Would like to see a lower teacher/student ratio.”

“My daughter Brooklyn is now in 1st grade and has gone to preschool and kindergarten at Cherry Knoll. I like it because everyone gets involved and it's a very hands on school all around and they made the transition during the rebuilding a lot of fun for the kids.”

“Cherry Knoll Elementary offers highly qualified instructors, who are dedicated to providing superior and enjoyable educational experience for each individual child. In addition, the Cherry Knoll PTO works diligently to provide high quality educational field trips which allow the students to experience a broad spectrum of hands on learning to compliment the acedemic curriculum. “We have the best staff anywhere. They care so much about the students. Our PTO is wonderful at fundraising for much needed supplies and activity costs. Our students try so hard and accomplish so much. To be here is to be with friends but feels like family. Our funds have been cut every year for the past several years and it looks like there is no end in sight for cuts, yet we remain optiistic.”

“We have the greatest school! Every morning the students and parents are greeted by the principal, Chris Parker, and the wonderful teachers of Cherry Knoll. Smiling faces and warm hello! What a wonderful way to begin the day! And, the teaching style really gets the children excited and looking forward to their participation in classroom projects. Way to go Cherry Knoll!”

“Cherry Knoll is a great elementry school. They have mixed grades so you were prepared to enter into middle school. They also had a learning annex for special needs kids. On lunch hour we would go help out at the annex and get to know kids that had disablitys. It is a school ahead of its time.”

“In the past I have been very happy with Cherry knoll but it seems like the more technology they try to use the less they care about the parents or students. I'm appalled at the way they now expect you pick up children after school. It's chaotic and potentially very dangerous to herd every child whether they get bussed or picked up out to the front of the school with the limited staff they have to supervise. It's not going to take much for them to lose track of a child in the chaos. On the plus side the staff are friendly and helpful and they are always polite with a smile. When I did have problems in the past they would try and help me resolve them. Overall I feel like, as a parent, they looking for ways to keep the parents out of the school and away from the teachers.”

“Cherry Knoll is the BEST! The staff makes everyday educational & enjoyable. The students are proud of their school. And the parents help fundraise like you wouldn't believe. ALL of their field trips are paid for - amazing! Next year we will have a brand new building to return to - not to mention the cool playgrounds.”

“This is my son's last year of school at Cherry Knoll because he moves up to the middle school, and I know he is going to miss it very much. The staff is wonderful and the academics are top notch. My son is constantly being challenged which is great! The only negative is that a lot of parents don't volunteer for the extracurricular or class help which sometimes puts a damper on things. Usually it's the same few people volunteering for coaching/etc because no one else will.”

“From the moment you walk into the office to the smile on the custodian's face, every staff member at Cherry Knoll makes your child feel great about learning. We have had wonderful experiences with both the preschool and the regular elementary. I would highly recommend this school to anyone.”
