Well, I'm looking hard for that person to spend the rest of life with. Trouble is, I don't go in for the usual haunts to find someone ie bar. The club is fine when it's 2 or more. But when most of your friends are married you become the odd man out. Well, a bit about me. Probably would be just easier to list the things I like alot: Scifi Channel (Battlestar Galactica, Dr. Who, Stargate), SCA (though not currently active), movies (like historical, drama, comedy, scifi, and even the mushy chick flick), gaming (D&D and World of Warcraft... I am becoming much less of a fanatic of WoW though), comparative religions (pagan best describes my philosophy and Joseph Campbell is practically the guidebook), history fanatic, and finally downright kinkiness with the right person (and in whatever way we decide to set things).
As I put in my description, I'm a little introverted.. Not a lot. I warm up quickly and tend to prefer the interactions of a small group or less.
Music interests are varied though you'll catch me mostly listening 80's new wave/punk/goth or some good celtic/renaissance tunes.

There are parts of both that i like. Like the city everything you need is right there a few miles away, and friends are closer and so on. But i will all ways choose the country if i could. So much more to do. Your more free more space, fresh air close to the lake. I Love it. I love the hard work that comes with a dairy farm, or any farm for that matter. It makes you feel good after a hard days work to know you got a shitte load of work done. But anyway. I can be reserved at times and quiet but thats just who i am. "Self-summary" makes me feel like I'm in English 101, but I'll go with it.

I'm a fun person, at least so I'm told. I like to talk, laugh and generally have a good time. Movies, hanging out in the apartment, talking through whatever happens to be on TV at the time. I'm up for just about anything, group setting or not.

I love pointless conversations and debates. About any topic on the planet, there's almost nothing I'd rather do than discuss something that isn't an everyday topic for hours on end. I also appreciate people who don't get massively uncomfortable in regards to some quote taboo unquote topics. If you can sincerely discuss the merits of legalizing prostitution with me, why pornography isn't necessarily a bad thing, why game shows such as Deal or No Deal hold absolutely no challenge and are rewards for the undeserving, or what would your ideal super power be we'd definitely have something to discuss.

I get extremely passionate about many things, and sometimes along with the passion I tend to get a little worked up as well. Some people call it being high strung, I call it sticking to what I believe in. Even if you don't have the same beliefs I do, that's fine. I never dictate how or what people are supposed to believe in and/or feel. That is simply uncool.

I'm a person that just completely doesn't understand bigotry and hatred. I literally don't get it. Hating someone for something that they have no control over baffles me, and explanations are no good. My mind merely refuses to understand it and no amount of talking will help with that.

I tend to go off on tangents frequently (as though you couldn't tell) and my mind works in interesting ways that allow me to go from serious topics to joking about the latest Whitest Kids clip I saw. (FYI a sketch comedy group I adore is call The Whitest Kids You Know, if you find things such as Race War, Hitler Rap, and Scotty as hilarious as I do, seriously IM me). Unless continuity is absolutely essential in a conversation I tend to go to and fro wherever the conversation leads me. I find the best conversations start by accident and go in a way that neither party necessarily intended them to go.

I was born and raised in The U.P. I moved here to Traverse City over a year ago. I moved here to help out with my grandma and go back to school. So far I am really enjoying it here!

I went kayaking this year and realy enjoyed it! I am actually looking into buying one! I also like hiking, and there are so many beautiful places to go here in TC.

I like going out and being social, even though I am a bit shy at first. I love getting dressed up and going out on the town, or just jeans and a t-shirt and hitting a small bar no one knows of.

I like trying anything at least once! If I have never done it before more then likely I want to try it. I like exploring when on road trips. I always want to go to the most obscure places. But I also want to be a total tourist and hit all the souvenir shops for fun!

The other side of me sometimes likes to stay inside for a few days and just watch movies and play board games in my PJ's. I am usually only like that in the winter though. Mainly because I am not a big fan of snow!! :P

I am a hudge fan of music!! I love it all except country. I love to go to a concert or go out and see live music.

Hey everybody. If I had to describe myself I would say that I'm a nice guy. I can be a real smart ass at times, but it's all in good fun. Usually it means that I like the person. Hello there. My name is Caitlin. I work at turtle creek casino in Williamsburg Michigan, it's out side of Traverse City Michigan. I don't enjoy it most of the time but it pays the bills.
Just got out of a relationship so I'm looking for someone I can be friends with before becoming serious with them. I think that was part of the problem. We skipped some important steps. I want to do things right this time. Not saying we can't go on some dates and express that we are interested in each other. But I'm going to try and not "adopt boys" as my mother would say. I'm divorced because my husband cheated on me so I don't do well with cheating. We aren't in highschool, so lets try to not act like it.

I work full time and go to college full time.

I work at an AFC home. That means Adult Foster Care. I work with mentally ill adults. I absolutely love it. At 19 I already feel like I'm making a difference in peoples life.

College. I haven't officially started yet. I start January 10th. I'm going for my General Studies Degree. My classes this semester are Eastern Religions, English 111, Psychology , and Philosophy. After I get my degree I plan to move somewhere far away to go to a university for my major. which will be Psychology. I'm not very sure on what I want to be yet. I'm leaning towards Youth Worker or Behavioral Psychologist. Whatever I end up doing, I want to help.
